A selection of smaller, but mentionable projects and studies.
For training purposes I like to work and iterate quickly. Mostly focused on Environment Design and -Conception, Scattering-workflows, as well as rendering, lighting and post-processing.
Small Scene I made, to practice Post-Process/Color-Grading.
The render (on the left hand) got pretty orange/pink-ish, as I initially aimed for a morning-mood. This made it a good challenge to achieve a relatively neutral and clean grade, like the first on the left above. From there, giving it an artsy/abstract-twist, is a fun exercise,
Passion-Project (never ending-WIP):
During springtime, I recreated bulbiferous flowers from my garden, further studying Geometry Nodes, in combination with adequate procedural-shading, whilst working of tangible references.
With the use of easy customizable curves, vegetation generation in Blender can become a solid and easy-to-use workflow.
Spring-flowers with their relatively simple phenotypes/anatomy are a great playground do develop such.
Exploration of my one of my favorite themes: post-apocalyptic, overgrowth.
Using procedural scattering-systems; Creating a quick Geonodes-tool to generate steel-beams on splines; practicing procedural shading.
Lumen, and Godray's <3!!
Unreal Engine 5 - Environment study, using Quixel.
Blender-study; scattering, composition, compositing several passes, of different scenes (Render Cycles, + Eevee volumetrics)
