My journey in creating stunning assets and digital landscapes, began with a genuine passion for nature, a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in botany and gardening.
Having grown up in a large diverse garden, equipped with 7 years of professional experience in horticulture, my works root in a defined understanding of botany, I infuse this knowledge into my work, creating authentic foliage and environments that resonate with realism and beauty.
During my 3-year apprenticeship at a Federal Testing Facility, similar to a 'Patent Office for fruit breeds', I learned to work with precision, up to a scientific method. And further sharpened my eyes for the beautiful little differences, nature provides plenty and meticulously.
From my initial steps with Blender, I quickly delved into node-based systems, including Geometry Nodes and procedural Shaders. Empowering me to attempt, in recreating nature with visual scripting.
Blender's outstanding Python API, introduced me to the means of scripting in streamlining repetitive tasks. Which comes especially handy, when working with large sets of assets.
My workflow has ever-evolved, incorporating dedicated software like SpeedTree, Substance, and Plasticity. These tools provide me with a broad set of capabilities, allowing me to further enhance my creations. I continuously refine my pipeline to deliver optimized high-quality game assets that seamlessly integrate into engines like Unreal and Unity.
Moreover, my exploration extends to engine-tools like Blueprint and PCG. And I remain attentive to industry advancements like Nanite and Lumen, including the requirements introduced with them.

Before I've discovered and found myself at home in 3D-Graphics, I've poured my creative juices onto traditional media. Of which Watercolor has stuck the most with me. During my time as professional gardener, it's been a cherished outlet, where I could teach myself art and color theory through practical application.
I like to take part in 3D community challenges like Blender Royal (shown below)
